Artichoke Outreach Programme 26/27
Artichoke Print Workshop is delivering a new outreach programme, supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
Our aim is to make printmaking more accessible, inclusive and inspiring for Lambeth residents.
Running from 2026–2027, the programme brings together three strands of activity:
Community Workshops
A series of free printmaking workshops, taking place around the London Borough of Lambeth.
A number of schools, community groups and local organisations will be offered a free, all day printmaking workshop, lead by our expert team. Working on location at partner venues, we will arrive with our portable press and all materials. Suitable for a range of abilities.
Press Forward
Bringing together a collective of emerging artists through printmaking, mentoring and creative development.
Press Forward is a fully funded 10-month programme for Lambeth residents aged 16–25. Through workshops, mentoring and practical projects, participants will develop creative and leadership skills, build a portfolio, work towards a public exhibition, and achieve the nationally recognised Gold Arts Award qualification, accredited by Trinity College London and carrying UCAS points.
Artichoke Print Residency
A supported residency for emerging artists developing the next edition of their practice.
The Artichoke Print Residency provides three months of supported studio access for emerging artists living in Lambeth. Residents receive open-access use of our printmaking facilities, a materials budget, mentoring and technical support, alongside a bespoke masterclass with an established artist.
The residency is designed for artists who would benefit from dedicated time, space and professional support to develop their practice, expand their skills and create new work within a specialist printmaking environment.
As part of the Arts Council England-funded programme, three residency opportunities will be awarded between 2026 and 2027.
