Elizabeth Cope is an artist based in Co. Kilkenny, Ireland who describes the dedication of painting as a spiritual freedom, an escape from the mundane.
Working with Elizabeth Cope for over 20 years, Artichoke Print Workshop prints all of Cope’s etchings using photo polymer to directly translate her sketches of animals and people.
Cope enjoys expressing the process of printmaking in her etchings, encouraging inklings of gestures that make each print subtly unique.
