Aphex Twin
Aphex Twin is a British musician, composer and DJ active in electronic music since 1988.
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of his album, ‘Selected Ambient Works Volume II’, his team at Warp Records reached out to Artichoke Print Workshop to create 2600 uniquely etched copper plates. Each plate was featured on a deluxe 4-LP box set within a hinged oak case released on October 4th, 2024.
Each plate was created using photoetching on copper. Each plate was degreased, covered in photosensitive emulsion, exposed, applied with stop out and etched in an acid bath, producing beautiful results that showcased the chemical process of printmaking.
