Artichoke Print Workshop, founded in 1992, continues to be a vital resource for artists working in print in London. Situated in the heart of Brixton, the studio hosts a number of highly sought after professional printers, including Paul Catherall, Sophie Layton, Liorah Tchiprout, Jake Garfield, Morgan Doyle and Marcelle Hanselaar. It also works alongside artists such as Duncan Wylie, Kate Boxer and Faye Wei Wei on editioning projects. 
 
Artichoke functions as an Open Access Printmaking workshop for artists, students and community groups. Boasting seven presses including two large Rochat Etching Presses, the studio is suitable for all kinds of intaglio and relief processes. We also teach courses and run technician aided sessions to ensure accessibility for all skill levels.
 
Artichoke has a track record supporting young artists after graduation, offering various fellowships and awards to assist them in the early stages of their careers. 

It also functions as a gallery, most notably at the Affordable Art Fair, promoting and selling the work of our studio users.
